About Us
Our Story
Palliative Paws grew from a passion for providing compassionate, individualised care to pets living with chronic or terminal illness, and throughout their later years. We understand the importance of respect and dignity in the comfort of a pet’s own home.
This passion was inspired by our founder, Dr Gillian, and her own experience with Benny, an irrepressible and resilient three-legged terrier. Today, Dr Gillian combines medical expertise with gentle, empathetic care to help pets remain comfortable, content, and surrounded by love in their golden years.
Our Mission
Based in Melbourne’s south-east, Palliative Paws is dedicated to bringing comfort and peace to pets and their families at home.
We believe end-of-life care should be guided by compassion—honouring the bond between people and their animals with understanding, respect, and dignity, so every pet may enjoy their final chapter with grace and love.
